Markham Vale Heritage Group
A group of volunteers passionate about the heritage of Markham Colliery. A key project is 'Walking Together' - a sculptural trail commemorating the men who died at major disasters at the pit, by artist Stephen Broadbent. Markham Vale Heritage Group (MVHG) have also developed an online resource - 'The Storymine' - which celebrates the mining heritage of Markham.
