University Hospitals of Derby and Burton: Medical & Nursing Collection
University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust has a collection of objects and archive material charting the history of its sites since the founding of the first hospital in Derby in 1810. The collection includes material relating to Queen Victoria and Florence Nightingale, with medical apparatus and objects illustrating the changing nature of working for the NHS. The collections are displayed across the five Trust sites with an engagement programme provided for staff, patients and the public.
